Designed for North American cellular networks, the FEX-101F-AM features an integrated LTE CAT6 modem with dual-SIM support, enabling organizations to add cellular connectivity and intelligent failover to their network infrastructure.
Reliable Cellular WAN Connectivity
The FortiExtender 101F-AM can provide cellular connectivity as a primary WAN connection or as a resilient backup to traditional broadband services. Dual-SIM support provides additional carrier flexibility and enables intelligent failover between cellular connections.
Fortinet Security Fabric Integration
FortiExtender integrates with FortiGate and Fortinet Secure SD-WAN, allowing cellular connectivity to become part of the organization’s broader network and security architecture. FortiExtender can be managed through FortiGate, FortiManager, or FortiExtender Cloud for centralized visibility and management.
Flexible Deployment
Power over Ethernet (PoE) allows the FortiExtender to be positioned for improved cellular reception without requiring a separate power outlet at the installation location. Fortinet supports Ethernet cable runs of up to 100 meters between the FortiExtender and FortiGate or network switch.
